Filtering the anxious pulse of post-punk through hazy shoegaze atmospheres and woozy psychedelia, Nerve Meter draws on the emotional DNA of ’80s and ’90s alternative. Reverb-drenched guitar lines, shadowy bass hooks, and modern electronic propulsion create songs that feel both bruised and forward-looking. Flecks of grunge grit, stoner-rock weight, and darkwave melancholy flicker beneath the surface, giving the music a restless, late-night intensity.
